Reception
Krystle
Krystle is originally from Bayonne, New Jersey. She spent most of her childhood traveling the US and South America because of her father's job. Among her travels in South America, she has become fluent in Spanish. In 2003, Krystle graduated from Middletown High School. She attended Delaware Tech, then transferred to Broward College in Florida where she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Communications in 2007.
Krystle married her high-school sweetheart, Mark, in September 2005 and they have a son, Mark III. Currently, they reside in Middletown with their family dog, Bentley. Krystle's favorite hobbies include shopping, spending time with the family, dancing, playing with Bentley, and watching hockey and football (Go Flyers & Eagles!) Krystle began working at Pure Wellness in April 2004, then left in August 2005 following the birth of her son, but returned to the practice in February 2009. She enjoys working at Pure Wellness to help improve the lives of everyone who walks through the doors!
Amy
Amy joined us in July 2008. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, but has lived in Delaware most of her life. In 1993, Amy graduated from Christiana High School and then continued her education at Goldey-Beacom College where she graduated in 1996 with a degree in Office Administration. In 1995, Amy began working in the chiropractic field and absolutely loves it! Amy enjoys being part of the team, helping others and the friendly atmosphere of Pure Wellness.
She lives in Middletown with her husband, Scott, and their son, Brenden. They also have two fun-loving Yorkshire terriers, Benny and Elsie. Amy and her family enjoy going to the Blue Rocks games and other family outings. She also loves to shop in her free time.
Erica
Erica became a member of our staff in March 2008. Originally from Wilmington, she currently resides in Middletown, Delaware. In 2003, Erica graduated from Middletown High School and continued her education with a Criminal Justice major at Wilmington University for 3 1/2 years. She is currently taking classes again at Wilmington University to obtain a degree in Marketing. In her free time, Erica likes to exercise, read, shop, spend time with my family & friends, play with her puppy, and would like to someday travel around the world! Her favorite aspects of working at Pure Wellness is meeting new people. Erica enjoys being surrounded with positive people and positive energy. It is her goal to make sure that every patient is welcomed as part of the family and leaves feeling purely well!
Billing
Holly
Born and raised in Newark, Delaware. She currently resides in Newark with her boyfriend, Mert, and her two dogs, Belle and Kaia. Holly graduated from Glasgow High School in 1989 and immediately began working in the chiropractic field. She has 20 years of chiropractic billing experience. Holly became a member of the team in May 2007. Her favorite hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, crafts, shooting pool, and going to the beach, and watching hockey (Go Flyers!). Holly feels that the doctors and staff of Pure Wellness are energetic and motivated about health care and wellness. She states "it is refreshing to be part of a such an organized, caring, and positive team."
Marketing/Rehabilitation
Kristina
Born & raised in Delaware, Kristina graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware in May 2004. She began working at Pure Wellness in June 2004. Kristina married her high-school sweetheart, Alex, in October 2004, and they have a son, Alexander "Xander". They currently reside in Newark with their family beagle, Snickers. Alex and Kristina are happy to announce they are expecting again this coming August!
Kristina assists patients through their rehabilitation programs as well as heads up the office's marketing department at Pure Wellness. Her interests include shopping, listening to music, dancing, watching football games (Go Eagles!) & NASCAR races, and summers at the beach. She especially enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Kristina is proud to be a member of the Pure Wellness team using her knowledge and creativity to enlighten patients every day about the importance of wellness care.
Massage Therapy
Theresa
Theresa graduated from the Deep Muscle Therapy School in 2007. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Theresa joined Pure Wellness in January 2008. Originally from New Castle County, Delaware, Theresa now resides in Maryland. Her interests include spending time with her grandson, Tyler, teaching him about nature. She loves to travel, boating with her husband, and spending time with her family at Bethany Beach. Theresa has a strong interest in helping people recover and enjoys being a part of the team building approach to wellness at Pure Wellness.
Kristine
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Kristine grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She currently resides in Delaware with her husband and her twins, Kelly and Sean. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Delaware. In March 2007, she became a part of the team as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Kristine's favorites include swimming and tandem cycling. She also spends much of her time taking care of her twins. Kristine enjoys helping patients regain their independence and improve their state of well-being through massage.
Patient Transportation
Harold
Originally from a small working farm in Staunton, VA, which is the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Harold moved to Delaware after being discharged from the Navy. Harold graduated from Goldey Beacom College with a degree in Management. He is retired from the trucking business. His favorite hobbies or interests are model trains, traveling within the country, and good food. Harold began transporting our patients in August 2007. He feels that Pure Wellness is not like a job, his favorite aspect is the great group of people he works with.
Dave
Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Dave went to Alma White Prep School. He enlisted in the Air Force and trained for six months at Medium Jet Bomber Tech School, then was posted to Spangdahlem Airbase in Germany as Crew Chief on RF-80 T-Bird. Dave married his wife in Trier, Germany by the Burgermeister in August 1956. They had a son in 1957.
They returned to the States, and Dave worked for Eastern Air Lines for five years. He then bought a truck and did what he really wanted to do, drive! His trucking experience lasted for 43 years. His other favorite hobbies include working around the house and garden. Dave resides in Townsend with his wife and two cats, Mr. Purr-o and Zoe, both are recovering strays.
Dave became a member of the team in November 2007. He loves his job of meeting new people and transporting them. He also enjoys working with the most dedicated and caring staff.
