Accessibility at Pure Wellness
Care only counts if you can reach it. This page covers how we build our websites, what our clinics offer patients with mobility, vision, or hearing needs, and how to tell us when we have missed the mark.
Our standard
We build https://purewellchiro.com and our clinic and doctor sites to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means text that resizes without breaking the page, colour contrast that holds up on a phone in daylight, controls you can reach with a keyboard alone, labelled form fields, captions and transcripts on video, and headings that let a screen reader skim a page the way a sighted visitor skims it.
Accessibility is not a one-time audit for us. Every new condition page, clinic page, and doctor profile goes through the same checks before it ships, and we retest the booking and insurance-verification flows whenever they change, because those are the two things a patient absolutely has to be able to finish.
In the clinics
All five Delaware offices — Newark, Wilmington, Middletown, Smyrna, and Camden/Dover — have ground-floor or elevator access, accessible parking close to the entrance, and treatment rooms that accommodate a wheelchair or walker. Tables can be lowered for transfers, and our doctors are trained to adapt techniques for patients who cannot lie prone.
If you need a sign language interpreter, extra appointment time, a companion in the room, or large-print intake forms, call the clinic ahead of your visit and we will arrange it at no cost to you. Service animals are welcome in every office.
Alternatives to the website
Nothing on these sites is the only way to do something. Every form can be completed over the phone with front-desk staff, printed and filled in by hand, or finished in the office before your exam. If a page will not work for you, call (866) 697-8739 and a person will take the same information down for you.
Third-party content
A few features come from outside vendors — Google Maps embeds, YouTube video, and the Matterport 3D clinic tours. We do not control their accessibility. Wherever we use them, the same information is also available as text on the page: addresses and driving directions in writing, clinic photos with descriptive alt text, and written descriptions of what the video covers.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit something on this site you cannot use, we want to hear about it — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Email [email protected] or call (866) 697-8739. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and what browser or assistive technology you were using.
We aim to respond within two business days and to resolve confirmed issues within thirty. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you why and give you a way to get what you needed in the meantime.
